The MCHS multipurpose tennis and pickleball courts are shared use. Four pickleball courts are available, but you may need to bring your net. It’s unclear if they are only available for students or if the public is welcome. Could you give them a call for more information on times and availability?

Santa Ana High School

Santa Ana High School is the oldest and largest high school in Orange County, and the pickleball courts are open to the public after school hours. They have nine available pickleball courts. You need to bring a net and all of your equipment.

Sandpointe Park

3700 S Birch St, Santa Ana, CA 92707

Sandpointe is a large park just off MacArthur Blvd. with plenty of space, trees, and opportunities to explore. They have two outdoor tennis courts that are first come, first serve. You need to bring your pickleball net and tape to make lines on the court.

Veterans Sports Park

402 Hanover Way, Tustin, CA 92782

Veterans’ sports park is one of the best pickleball court setups in the area, with eight permanent pickleball courts open to the public. Court hours are Monday-Sunday, 8:00 am-10:00 pm. You can make a reservation online to secure your spot since the facility is busy. They charge 8-10$ an hour for a dedicated court, but they may have some open-play drop-in hours.

Portola Springs Community Park

This picturesque park has many kid-friendly amenities like a playground, sand volleyball court, baseball diamonds, tennis and pickleball courts, soccer fields, and a walking jogging path. With six dedicated pickleball courts at Portola Springs Community Park, you only need to show up and play!

San Carlo Park

They have two mixed-use hybrid tennis and pickleball courts; the park is technically open 24 hours, but the court lights turn off at 10 pm. On a first come, first serve basis, the park is quiet, so you should be able to get on the court without a problem. Please make sure to bring your net and equipment.

The RCI is a beautiful private club with five dedicated pickleball courts you can reserve. They offer pickleball lessons from some outstanding staff members. You must join the club and pay membership fees to use its facilities, but once you are a member, you can bring guests to play. They offer some excellent new member deals. With four pickleball courts to play on, it’s the only free option in Newport Beach, and it gets busy! The crowd here is super welcoming and is a great option to drop in and find players to challenge. This park in Laguna Beach is breathtaking, with its vast and wide-open spaces. On top of that, they have recently added five pickleball courts!
